Continuing Education

My professional career began at the University of Kentucky, College of Dentistry, graduating in 2003. Upon graduation I was proud to be commissioned captain in the U.S. Air Force. My tour began with an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency, learning comprehensive treatment planning and patient care in all specialties of dentistry. That residency prepared me to complete my active duty commitment with two years as Officer in Charge of oral surgery and sedation at Dyess Air Force Base. I joined An Elegant Smile in 2006, and have developed a truly rewarding relationship with my patients and a highly-skilled team of general dentists, technicians and specialty doctors over the last five years. Though my formal training is completed I continue to develop in my profession. As a member of the American Dental Association I have the resources to remain abreast of developments in dental technology and studies, and apply that knowledge in the care of my patients. And with dental implants becoming the standard of care for replacing missing teeth I have received training in the latest techniques in implant dentistry.

Personal Statement

My practice is all about my patients. Each comes with a unique set of needs and desires, but my goal is the same for each: meet those needs and desires with excellent care in a comfortable atmosphere. I consider myself blessed to be part of a profession where I can touch so many lives in a positive way.

Brandon J. Ryff, DDS

Education

Dr. Brandon J. Ryff earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology as well as his Bachelor of Health Science in Physiology, Biochemistry, and Molecular Biophysics from the University of Arizona, College of Medicine. Dr. Ryff received his Doctorate in Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan, School of Dentistry in Ann Arbor, MI. The University of Michigan is among the top ranking dental schools in the United States, known for its profound contributions to dental research, public health, and technological innovation in the field of dentistry.

Continuing Education

The field of dentistry is constantly evolving, and Dr. Ryff understands the importance of keeping up-to-date with the newest and best dental technology. As a member of the Academy of General Dentistry, Dr. Ryff places strong emphasis on continuing education and insists on using only the best materials and most advanced technology dentistry has to offer. The result is longer lasting and more affordable dental care for you as our patient.

Highly trained in the management of dental anxiety and the alleviation of dental pain, Dr. Ryff practices a patient-centered approach to dentistry. He believes that patients should be actively involved in choosing the treatment options that best suit their individual needs. By using a chairside flat-screen monitor, which visually displays problem areas found on X-rays, Dr. Ryff helps his patients to better understand their dental condition and available treatment options.

Personal Life

As a lifelong Arizonan, Dr. Ryff and his wife, Marissa, enjoy time spent outdoors, camping, fishing, and kayaking. He and his wife have a chocolate Labrador retriever named Kona and a cat named Purrpa.
